Scholarships are not just for undergrads, there are a number of scholarships, grants and fellowships available to grad students. First step in finding scholarship money is to fill out the FAFSA® (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), this will help identify any gift-aid you might qualify for as well as help schools determine financial aid packages.
After filing out the FAFSA, check with your school to see what scholarship opportunities they offer. Also look online, there are several organizations/companies that offer graduate scholarship and/or fellowship opportunities. There’s money to be found for graduate students if you look. The best way to ensure you receive some of this money is to apply to as many scholarships as you have time to. The more you apply to the greater your odds of winning one or more.
