The Georgia Hope Scholarship (which stands for Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally) offered a maximum award in 2021-2022 of $7,680 for two semesters of enrollment in 15 credit hours per term. To be eligible for the full amount you must be enrolled in at least 15 credit hours. Anything less than 15 credit hours will result in a prorated adjustment of your award.
The Hope Scholarship was started and is intended for students from Georgia. It’s funded by the Georgia state lottery and since its inception in 1993, has awarded billions in scholarship money to approximately 2 million students.
