Every 12 months you can receive a free copy of your credit report from each of the major credit reporting agencies, Experian, TransUnion, Equifax. You can access these reports from annualcreditreport.com where you will be asked to complete a form online and pick the report(s) you want to see.
Before you can access your reports, you’ll be asked some questions where you may need to access your personal records to answer. This is to prevent others from accessing your credit information. Your credit report does not include your credit score, but will allow you to monitor your identity, what financial accounts you have open, and any balances you have on those accounts.
